Accountant

Summary

Responsible for the accounting for some of the Rhone Group entities up to the preparation of the Financial statements and statutory audits.

Job Description

• Manage the full cycle of the accounting for some of the Rhone entities (Swiss and foreign), up to the financial statements and audit preparation
• Manage all finance related administrative tasks within these entities
• Ensure that the necessary internal controls are in place for the accounting procedures
• Ensure appropriate accruals for revenues and costs and conduct the monthly reconciliation of the accounts
• Prepare the annual accounts for the designated Rhone entities and provide the necessary internal and external audit documentation
• Manage tax declarations and payments (VAT, income tax, others)
• Prepare and submit statutory reporting
• Assist with other finance-related matters as required

Requirements

• Good working knowledge of oral and written English and French
• Degree, qualification or equivalent experience in accounting
• Knowledge of Swiss GAAP standards and Code of Obligations
• Experience with GIT WinEur accounting software
• Proficient user of the standard office IT tools (MS Office and Excel in particular)
• Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP would be an asset
• Precise, discreet, reliable and able to work under pressure
