SUMMARY
Responsible for all Singapore regulatory matters as they relate to compliance, including local reporting, staff training and transaction monitoring. Review of new and existing business to ensure KYC requirements are met.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Act as the Anti Money Laundering Reporting Officer and Compliance Officer for Rhone Trustees (Singapore) Ltd (“RTS”) ensuring the integrity of Anti-Money Laundering data and systems.
- Assist with adherence to Group Risk Management matters such as client take on, payment approvals, internal Policies & Procedures, internal audit and complaints register to promote and ensure best business practice.
- Assist the Core Management and Resident Managers exceed the MAS requirements for SOW and SOF records for all clients.
- Responsibility for overseeing effective FATCA, CRS reporting and any Beneficial Ownership Register – this is done in conjunction with group function stakeholders
- Preparation of monthly Compliance Reports to be presented to the Board of Directors.
- Ensure that all staff are adequately trained on Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering matters.
- Ensure all MAS reporting is completed within the required time-frame. This will involve project managing the relevant data with the appropriate stakeholders to ensure the completion of required reports.
- Work closely with the compliance function within the entire Rhone Group.
- Oversee projects or attend to tasks as may be required from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
Hard skills:
- Knowledge of Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering issues
- Knowledge of Risk Mitigation strategies
- Excellent command of English, oral and written
- IT literate
Soft skills:
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to efficiently complete multiple assignments
- Excellent organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
- Diplomatic, with a strong sense of discretion
Qualifications and experience:
- Good experience of working in compliance and risk
- Previous experience of MAS regulations and guidelines
